We kept the traditional round shape, but simplified it with a sleek, one-piece, solid aluminum frame. We recessed the reel seat so the reel mounts closer to the rod for a more comfortable feel. CT-50 has 3 ball bearings,1 roller bearing, 5.0:1 gear ratio. Line capacity for CT50 6/195, 8/130. The CT-100 gear ratio is 5.8:1, with 2 ball bearing and 1 roller bearing, line capacity for CT100 8/165, 10/140, 12/120.
